紐約的自由女神、帝國大廈、大都會博物館、時代廣場、百老匯歌舞劇、世界最高的摩天大樓…等等全球知名景點的膨脹感，而勾勒出一般人心目中摩登現代與藝文氣息兼具的紐約印象。 紐約其實是一個可以讓你奢侈享受所有感覺的城市，愈是生活在其中，愈是無法自拔的愛上這個令人迷離的都會，不論是浪漫、溫馨、知性、休閒，甚或喜怒哀樂凡人嗔癡，就是這麼讓你隨手可擷取，又百分百的使你清楚感受到，像是只要搭乘遊輪沿著哈德遜河及東河環繞著下曼哈頓走一圈，那震撼人心的紐約夜景，足以帶給你狂喜的感覺。 紐約就是這麼一個可以讓你瘋狂不已的城市，至於其他千百種的感覺，就只得靠你自己親身去挖掘與體會了。 本語言中心(ELI English Language Institute) 提供各項量身訂做的語言課程。無論求學目的是本身志趣、課業追求，或生涯規劃，中心裡教學經驗豐富的老師都可達成學生的需求。目前本中心所提供的課程包含密集英語課程、研究所準備課程、與週末的社區課程。在課堂中，老師們傳授聽、說、讀、寫全方位的專業學問，並提供學生於美國當地學校求學時必備的技能，使學生可同時學習美國當地文化。在經歷各項課程訓練後，英語程度達一定水平的學生，可免去拖福測驗，直接申請條件式的入學許可。而就讀於ELI的學生，與佩斯大學的一般學生，同樣享有免費使用校內設施的權利，如網路、游泳池、健身房、與國際生服務室等。另外，本語言中心(ELI)身為美國密集英語課程聯盟(AAIEP)的會員，更致力於為追求更高英語成就的學生，提供高品質的求學環境。

Westchester HOMESTAYS Staying with a local family is a great way to experience life in New York and practice your English outside of class. To find a homestay speak with Homestay NY. They will help you find a home away from home near the ELI. YMCA Many students stay in the heart of White Plains at the local YMCA. In addition to your room guest have access to the gym and pool. It is a short 20-minute walk from the ELI. RESIDENCE HALLS If you are staying for a long time at the ELI it may be possible to stay in one of the residence halls at the Law School. Contact Pace's Housing division for details. APARTMENTS Live like a local. Many students choose to live in an apartment in Westchester. This is a very authentic experience. You can find an apartment or roommate through 4stay. NOTE: The English Language Institute provides housing information for the convenience of our students.
